Description
This is a red bodied Sollophonic solid bodied resonator guitar with a Wilkinson P90/Humbucker Soapbar pickup, all maple neck, a sieve style cover-plate and black pickguard. Like all Sollophonic guitars it has a bone top nut with widened string spacing and a quality cone under the cover plate. The red body has some elements of sparkle in it, which shows up under certain lights. This has a lovely all maple neck with sealed tuners and a nice chunky-ish profile for easy playing. This guitar has a great spun cone under the cover plate, with a rosewood biscuit bridge and rosewood saddle. It is strung with 12-52 strings and has a nice mixed action for both slide and non-slide playing. It has a Wilkinson Humbucking Soapbar style P90 pickup rated at 9K wired to volume and tone controls mounted on a chrome control plate near the jack socket. This is mounted under a black three ply scratch-plate which complements the red finish on the body and the maple neck.
A sieve style cover plate, a long tailpiece and a rear sound-port complete the specification.
So to sum up, lovely, playable, chunky-ish maple neck, red body, Wilkinson Humbucking Soapbar P90 pickup, mixed action for all styles of playing, sieve style cover-plate, long tailpiece
