Natural Timber Sollophonic, P90 Soapbar Pickup, Red Torty Guard

Description

This is a natural timber bodied Sollophonic solid bodied resonator guitar with a P90 Soapbar pickup, maple neck, a sieve style cover-plate and a red torty pickguard. Like all Sollophonic guitars it has a bone top nut with widened string spacing and a quality cone under the cover plate. The body is a light hardwood, and is finished with a very light varnish. This guitar has a lovely maple neck neck with sealed tuners and a nice, chunky-ish profile for easy playing. This guitar has a spun cone under the cover plate, with a rosewood biscuit bridge and rosewood saddle. It is strung with 12-52 strings and has a nice action for both slide and non-slide playing. It has a Soapbar P90 pickup rated at 8.2K wired to volume and tone controls rear mounted through the body near the jack socket. This pickup is placed under a red tortoiseshell scratch-plate which complements the natural finish on the body and the maple board neck.

A sieve style cover plate, a long tailpiece and a rear sound-port complete the specification. Red Torty control plate cover is on the rear.

So to sum up, lovely, playable, maple neck, black body, Soapbar P90 pickup, mixed action for all styles of playing, sieve style cover-plate, long tailpiece and rear sound-port. Please note, the body is finished in a light varnish, it is not glossy at all and it is designed to wear with age and use.
