Candy Apple Red, With P90 Soapbar And Red Torty Scratchplate

Description

This is a candy apple red Sollophonic solid bodied resonator guitar with an all maple neck, P90 Soapbar pickup and a red tortoiseshell scratchplate/pickguard. The neck is a nice feeling all maple neck with a synthetic bone nut and has a nice profile for easy playability. It has a synthetic bone nut fitted with widened string spacing. A rosewood bridge and maple saddle is fitted on top of the resonator cone and the guitar is strung with 12-52 Rotosound strings.  It has a P90 Soapbar rated at 9K wired to controls on a chrome plate near the jack socket and topped with chrome knobs. This combination gives a bright, clear acoustic tone coupled with that classic P90 growl which is great for slide playing. It is setup with and action which is biased towards slide playing, at the 12th fret its is 3.5mm on the bass side and 2.5mm on the treble side. It has a sieve-style cover plate and a rear sound-port covered by a stainless steel grille. Finally it has a red tortoiseshell scratch-plate which complements the slightly metallic red on the guitar body.

So to sum up, nice maple neck, loud and powerful P90 soapbar pickup, slide biased action with still the ability to play chords at the lower frets, red torty guard, sieve-style cover plate and a rear sound port. All you need for a versatile slide and even non-slide guitar in a variety of situations.
