This is a black and red Sollophonic solid bodied resonator guitar, with a P90 Soapbar pickup, a chicken-foot style cover plate and a roseacer board neck. Like all Sollophonic guitars it has a bone nut with widened string spacing and a Continental cone under the cover plate. This particular guitar has an a nice profiled roseacer board neck, with sealed tuners. It has an all rosewood biscuit bridge and saddle and it has 12-52 strings set to a mixed slide/non-slide action. This gives the guitar a rich full sounding acoustic tone for all kinds of playing. It has a Soapbar style P90 pickup rated at 8.2K wired to volume and treble controls on a chrome plate on the bottom bout of the guitar and these are topped with chrome knobs. This gives a full bodied, warm tone through an amplifier and is great for slide. It has a Chicken-foot style cover plate, a standard size tailpiece, a red three ply dark red tortoiseshell scratchplate and a rear sound port with a chrome grille.
