Description

This is an all red Sollophonic solid bodied resonator guitar with a maple neck and a P90 Soapbar pickup. Like all Sollophonic guitars it has a Continental cone under the cover-plate and a bone nut with widened string spacing. This guitar has an all maple neck with sealed tuners, and a fairly chunky profile. It has a rosewood biscuit bridge and a maple saddle, it is strung with 12-52 strings and has an action set for a mix between slide and non-slide playing. It has a P90 Soapbar pickup rated at just under 9K wired to controls on a chrome plate near the jack socket, topped with standard chrome knobs. It has a sieve style cover-plate and is finished off with a dark red tortoiseshell scratch plate and finally a rear sound port with a stainless steel grille.

This guitar gives a bright, full sounding acoustic tone and a rich, warm sound from the classic P90 through an amp. This is great for all types of playing both with or without a slide.
