Black And Red, Hotrail Pickup. Roseacer Board Neck
Black and Red Theme, Roseacer Board Neck, Hot-rail Pickup, Versatile Action, Sieve Style Cover-plate, Rear Sound-Port, Lovely Acoustic and Electric Tone. Wilko Johnson References??? A Belter!!!
This is a black and red Sollophonic solid bodied resonator guitar, with a roseacer neck, Hot-rail pickup and a dark red tortoiseshell pick-guard. Like all Sollophonic guitars it has had a full fret dress and polish, has a Continental cone fitted and has a bone top nut with widened string spacing. A slim-ish profile roseacer board neck with a satin finish is matched to a black basswood body. This one has a rosewood biscuit bridge and maple saddle, is strung with 12-52 strings and has an action set for both slide and non-slide playing with 12th fret heights measured at 2mm bass side and 2mm treble side. This also allows for lower fret chord and finger-style playing, and of course can be further adjusted to suit your individual playing style. It has a Hot-rail humbucker pickup rated at 11K, mounted in a dark red torty three ply scratch-plate and wired to front mounted controls on a chrome plate near the jack socket, topped with chrome knobs. This combination gives this lovely guitar a, full, clear acoustic sound, coupled with a warm, loud, hum-free amplified tone from the Hotrail pickup . Finally it has a rear sound-port covered with a stainless steel grille, it has sieve-style cover-plate, and a standard length chrome tail-piece.
So to sum up;- an all black body, easy playing roseacer board neck, high output, hum-cancelling Hot-rail pickup, three ply red torty pick-guard, versatile action, Continental cone, bone top nut, sieve style cover-plate, front mounted controls and a rear sound-port. Sweet player and greatt sounding, with a classy black/red/chrome colour combination, with a slight nod towards a Wilko Johnson theme.
